The Many Times The 'Friends' Cast Have Reunited Over The Years

Ahead of the long-awaited Friends unscripted reunion at the end of the month, the six cast members have reunited for the cover of People magazine.

The actors - who are now all in their 50s - pose together on the front cover for a photo taken by Mark Seliger. In other images the six characters are photographed at a table read, while Le Blanc, Perry, Aniston, Cox and Kudrow sit on the couch facing the TV in Monica's 'NYC' apartment in another.

Friends stars and real-life best friends Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow And Courtney Cox just made a surprise reunion at the Emmy Awards.

On Sunday September 20, the trio came together for the star-studded award show after Aniston helped host Jimmy Kimmel announce several of the winners at the Staples Center in LA and returned home to find out if she won in her own awards category.

Aniston was joined by two of her Friends co-stars, who described themselves as roommates.

'Of course I'm here! We live together!' Cox joked to Kimmel. 'Um, yeah, we've been roommates since 1994 Jimmy,' Aniston added. 'Is this live TV?' Kudrow said.

When Kimmel said that he thought Kudrow might be with her family on Sunday evening she joked: ‘Yeah, like most people live with their families…’

Aniston’s friend and actor Jason Bateman also joined the actresses for the call, with Aniston explaining he’s living with her until he ‘goes off to college’.

The mini reunion comes weeks after HBO Max announced it would delay the Friends special again until May 2021

While we tend to assume we know everything there is about our favourite celebrities - particularly those we have been watching on-screen since the mid 90s - Jennifer Aniston just revealed something to us: She sucks at pool but Courteney Cox is very good at it!

The actress shared a video to her Instagram of Cox potting pretty much every shot she took, while the Hamilton soundtrack 'My Shot' played. Then Aniston had her turn and, while she's skilled in so many areas, pool is sadly not her forte.

With the music changing to Billy Preston's 'Nothing From Nothing', poor Jen misses every shot while Cox, who is now behind the camera, turns it around so we can see her reaction.

'It's been a while,' Aniston tells her friend of three decades.

Cox uploaded the clip too, captioning it with a timeless Friends reference: 'I may have had a good night... but could my friend BE any cuter?'

We can't help thinking, this is typical Monica and Rachel.

On 23rd January, Courteney Cox shared this unbelievably emotional photograph of the six cast members having dinner together before filming 'The Last One' - which fans will know is the two-part final episode of Friends ever.

'I got off the plane': Cue sobs.

The photo was taken on 23rd January 2004, which is exactly 16 years ago to the day that it was shared by the actor.

In the photo, the cast all look particularly close that day, which is understandable given the 10 seasons they'd worked together. Responding to Cox's photo, Lisa Kudrow commented 'Awww' while Jennifer Aniston posted three crying emojis. Us too, Jen. Us too.

It's only a couple of weeks into the new year and we have already been blessed with a Friends reunion. On Sunday evening, Aniston shared pictures with Cox and Kudrow, appropriately captioning it: 'Hi from the girls across the hall'.

Thought Rudd wasn't one of the six lead characters, we've included him in this roundup as an honorary character, who truly enriched the final season as Phoebe's husband Mike 'crapbag' Hannigan.

The former co-stars reunited at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation dinner in LA, where Aniston was supported by her friends as she was awarded the 'Artists Inspiration Award'.

Ahead of Cox heading to a fancy awards show to support best friend Aniston, she reunited with her on-screen husband. The pair met for lunch, with Monica - sorry, Cox, - honouring Chandler by captioning the selfie: 'Could I BE any happier?'

Instagram newcomer Aniston commented on the post with pure adoration, writing: 'MATTY! I LOVE YOU GUYS' which Kudrow echoed, writing: 'Lucky, lucky.'

The one that went viral... Aniston used this picture to finally join Instagram last month. Her arrival on the platform led to Aniston dethroning the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as the fastest account to amass one million followers, caused a temporary technical glitch for Instagram, a whole host of celebrities to fully lose it and has so far been liked almost 15 million times.

The girls of Friends - whose style credentials can still be used as inspiration today, might we add - had a girls night to celebrate Cox's birthday this summer.

... And Ellen DeGeneres. The co-stars headed for a catch up in Central Perk in January and Cox brightened up all of our feeds by joining Instagram.

Cox and Aniston came together to present an award to another honorary Friend - George Clooney - who had a guest appearance as a doctor (who he also played in ER) in the show's first season.

The former Manhattan 'across-the-hall' neighbours came together to present at the 2016 Writers Guild Awards in LA.

All the cast but one (Perry had a play in London so was able to attend) had their first public reunion in years when they came together to celebrate James Burrows - one of the directors from Friends.

The two Friends (is this reference getting tiring yet?) reunited at a charity gala to benefit Phoenix House in LA.

Former flatmates Monica and Phoebe joined forces in Santa Monica to attend a gallery opening night.

Kudrow came out in force to support her former co-star for the premiere of his show Episodes in West Hollywood.

Six years after the show ended, Cox and Aniston still met up when they could including for an appearance at the Crystal + Lucy awards in California.

We hope they're singing 'Smelly Cat'. The pals reunited five years after the show ended for a good cause, taking to the stage at the Rock a Little, Feed A Lot concert in LA.
