Now that we know where Greg (sorry, Gary) has been sequestering himself and Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge)'s money, it seems that Mike White really is preparing to take audiences on quite the trip down memory lane in the third season of The White Lotus.
Not one to miss a bit though, Coolidge revealed to Forbes that she is indeed watching the most recent series. 'Yes, I am,' she confessed. 'And I’m envious as hell.' The A Cinderella Story actor also added that she was surprised to see her character's former — and murderous — husband Greg (Jon Gries) back in the fold.

'Mike White [the creator of The White Lotus] can tell a story better than anybody. I mean, in the first episode [of season three], I felt like "Oh, this is going to be really good!" I just felt like everything he set up — it’s really eerie — you’re not quite sure what people are up to yet. My guess? Something’s going to go horribly wrong. I think it’s really going to go wrong. Mike White, he wants us to have it all, I think. I can’t wait. As you know, Jon Gries has shown up. I hope he gets it! I hope they do something terrible to him,' she said.
The third season of The White Lotus is set in Thailand and is a dark satirical examination of the West's wellness and spirituality obsession, while the first was set in Hawaii and came out in 2021, and the second was in Italy and came out at the end of 2022. The second season ended with Tanya's death, with audiences lead to believe that Greg had orchestrated her murder in order to inherit her vast fortune.
Coolidge, who is a close friend of the series' creator White, has several other projects lined up, most notably starring in the third installment of Legally Blonde.
The White Lotus season three will be available weekly from February 17 on Sky and streaming service NOW TV.
