Proving that she’s never one to do things by halves, Taylor Swift’s latest project, The Eras Tour Concert Film, has already broken records in its opening weekend.
The film, which is a documentation of Swift’s ongoing worldwide Eras tour, made an estimated $96 million in its opening weekend, according to American chain of cinemas, AMC Theatres.

The Eras Tour Concert Film documents one of the six sold-out shows Swift performed in Inglewood, California over the summer as part of her ongoing Eras Tour, which kicked off in March and serves as a retrospective of her 17-year career. Before it hit cinemas this weekend, it amassed a whopping $100million in pre-sale tickets alone.
Speaking at the film's premiere last week, which was attended by 2,200 'Swifties' chosen by the star herself, Swift noted how 'special' it was to 'capture the memories of this tour.'
'The capturing of the memories of this tour was so special because of what you brought to it, you're passion, your sense of humour, your attention to detail, the amount that you prepared for it the amount that you cared about it.
'That is what i hope you get from this - how much you brought this tour to life.'
'I see you, I love you, I hope you like it!'
