The face of Stella McCartney, founder of 818 tequila and the highest paid model in the world, Kendall Jenner, has a new job as a chatbot for Meta, formerly Facebook.

Unveiled yesterday by its founder, Mark Zuckerberg, at the company’s annual Connect conference, the platform is set to launch 28 artificial intelligence chatbots embodied by celebrities including Jenner, Snoop Dogg and Naomi Osaka.

The move is said to be part of Zuckerberg’s plan to ensure that Meta appeals to a younger audience. Speaking yesterday, he said that the chatbots are about ‘entertainment,’ adding that there may be some limitations as they do not presently have access to real-time information. That will be added in the coming months, he said.
