A new documentary, which features Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford, is set to reveal all about the defining era of the original supermodels.

The documentary, deftly named The Super Models, will shed light on the quartet’s experiences of coming into the modeling industry and their explosion into popular culture during their heyday in the 80s and 90s.

According to a release from AppleTV+, the project is described as the ‘ultimate story of power and how four women came together to claim it, paving the way for those to follow.’

Taking to Instagram in 2020, Evangelista shared her thoughts on the upcoming documentary, saying: ‘I would love for people to see this as a celebration of not only our individual stories, but also to the power of friendship, dreams and perseverance.’

The Super Models, which is available to stream today on Apple TV+, was directed by Roger Ross Williams and Larissa Bills, with the former becoming the first African-American director to win an Academy Award in 2010.
