Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall have unwittingly proven their enduring affection for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, as fans notice an object of commemoration for the pair in their house.
While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reside in Montecito, California, since they moved in March 2020, after stepping down from duties as senior royals, it seems that they still occupy pride of place in the home of London-based royals Prince Charles and Camilla, according to a particular photo.
This was revealed when the Duchess of Cornwall showed a rare glimpse of her and the duke's home, as images of her reception at Clarence House with rowers Kat Cordiner, Abby Johnston and Charlotte Irving were made public.

The photo in question, which appeared in their living room, depicts Prince Charles walking his daughter-in-law down the aisle at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
On the day of the Duke of Duchess of Sussex's wedding, Markle made her way down the first part of the aisle by herself, before Prince Charles escorted her the remainder of the way.
The duchess' own father Thomas Markle wasn't in attendance.
A picture of Prince Harry at the 2014 Invictus Games, a family portrait from Prince Louis' christening in 2018 and a snap of Prince Charles holding grandson Prince George at his christening in 2013 are also amongst the photos in the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall's living room. Not to mention, a picture of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
News of Prince Charles and Camilla's photo comes after The Mirror reported that Prince Charles has invited Prince Harry and Markle to stay with him.
His reported invitation followed reports that the UK Home Office denied Prince Harry the opportunity to pay for police protection for his family during UK visits, leading him to seek a judicial review.
According to the news outlet, Prince Charles wanted to spend quality time with Prince Harry's family, as it was highlighted that he hasn't met the couple's daughter, Lilibet, nine months, nor seen his grandson Archie, two, since he was six months old.
The Queen is also yet to meet her great-granddaughter Lilibet in person, though there are plenty of reports that they have met via video call.
