Update February 24, 2020: The One Tree Hill cast reunited over the weekend, eight years since the last episode of the hit TV show aired.
On Saturday, actress Hilarie Burton shared a series of photographs on Instagram of her meeting up with the cast in Tree Hill, North Carolina.
‘I got a job when I was 20-years-old that gave me some of the most important relationships and experiences of my life,’ Burton captioned the photos.

‘I didn't take nearly enough pictures this weekend and didn't get photo evidence of everyone, but I love @raenia23 at @fwbcharityevents for bringing us all together.
‘Thick and thin, our shared history has been a cornerstone in my life. Love you guys.’
James Lafferty, Chad Michael Murray, Antwon Tanner, Jana Kramer and Stephen Colletti were among those to reunite, while Bethany Joy Lenz and Sophia Bush were nowhere to be seen.
‘We had so many brilliant cast mates over the years,’ Burton continued in the caption of another snap.
‘But this bunch of crazies are the original cast from the very first pilot episode. Most of us got a script called 'Ravens'. We were little kids with a whole lotta hope. Nathan. Tim. Lucas. Peyton. Skills. Mouth. Jimmy. The OGs of Tree Hill High.’
Whether it was Michelle Williams’ rousing speech about a woman's right to choose, Tom Hanks’ hilarious reaction to Ricky Gervais’ monologue, or Beyoncé bringing her own champagne, the 2020 Golden Globes had many a talking point.
However, one moment we can’t get enough of is the sweet One Tree Hill reunion, following the star-studded event.
On Sunday, actors Sophia Bush, Bryan Greenberg and Danneel Ackles attended the ceremony’s after party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
For the occasion, the trio took part in a hilarious skit which saw Bush and Ackles – who played cheerleaders Brooke Davis and Rachel Gatina in the show – holding pom-poms while Greenberg – who played the adorable Jake Jaglieski – dribbled a basketball.
‘After party at Karen’s Café, anyone?’ Bush captioned the clip on Instagram.
The cast of the show – which aired from 2004 to 2012 – have enjoyed several reunions over the years.
Hilarie Burton, who played Peyton Sawyer in the show, joined up with her OTH co-stars Stephen Colletti, Robert Buckley, Danneel Ackles, Antwon Tanner, and Tyler Hilton for a ‘holiday reunion special’ titled ‘Tis the Season: A One Tree Hill Cast Reunion, which aired on Lifetime last November.
Last year, actors Chad Michael Murray and James Lafferty posed in a photo together at the filming location where the on-screen brothers would shoot hoops after school.
In December 2018, Bush opened up about ‘inappropriate’ producers who took advantage of her high-profile break-up from her ex-husband and co-star Michael Murray during the filming of the show.
The couple began dating in 2003 and announced their engagement a year later. In April 2005, the pair married but separated five months later. They finalised their divorce in December 2006.
In an interview with actor Dax Shepard on his podcast, Armchair Expert, the actress said that while the pair tried to remain amicable on set, the show’s producers exploited their split by running adverts about it.
Bush said producers were ‘really deeply inappropriate to both of us [...] it was really ugly.
‘They made practice of taking advantage of people’s personal lives and not just for me and for my ex — for other actors on the show who would share, like as you do when you get close to people, deeply personal things that were happening in their lives and they would wind up in storylines. It wasn’t okay,' she added.
