Margot Robbie takes her film preparation very seriously.
So seriously, in fact, that she created a top secret, anonymous Twitter account to research for her role in her latest film Bombshell.
Bombshell tells the real-life story of the sexual harassment scandal at American conservative news station Fox News, which led to the toppling of the company's former Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes - who died in 2017, aged 77.

To get into character as Kayla, a young, conservative woman eager to carve out a career at the controversial network, Robbie looked to Twitter to find a range of opinions which contradicted her own.
As her real Twitter account - which is followed by 1.2 million people - would likely be quite an obvious platform for the 29-year-old to use to conduct her research, Robbie chose to create another account specifically to follow right-wing American women in an attempt to understand them better.
'I didn’t grow up watching Fox News, and I didn’t grow up in the same place as [Kayla],' the Australian actress told Entertainment Weekly.
'I was struggling to understand that point of view for a while, and Twitter ended up being the most useful tool. Because people are extremely vocal on Twitter.'
In the film, Robbie's character is fictional though both her co-star's, Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman's on-screen personas are portrayals of real women.
Kidman plays Gretchen Carlson, a long-standing journalist who filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Ailes in 2016, while Theron depicts - with the help of a lot of prosthetics - American newsreader Megyn Kelly, who also claimed Ailes harassed her.
Last week, it was announced that the #MeToo film received two Golden Globe nominations (with Theron up for Best Actress and Robbie for Best Supporting actress) and four Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award nods.
