Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Phillippe are confusing us yet again with their lookalike appearances.
On Wednesday, the Oscar winning actress wished her daughter a happy 21st birthday and shared a picture of the two together... spurring legions of followers, including Lena Waithe, to comment on their similarity.
Next to the recent photo, Witherspoon also shared an adorable old photo of Ava as a toddler.

This is not the first time fans have noticed the likeness between Witherspoon and her daughter, from her marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe.
In December, the actress made a rare red carpet appearance with Ava, her 16-year-old son Deacon and husband Jim Toth when the foursome stepped out to attend The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment breakfast gala, with Ava and Reese looking near identical in their chic party attire.
For the gala, attended by the likes of Olivia Wilde, Eva Longoria and Mindy Kaling, the actress wore a button-up navy blue pleated midi knee-length dress by Michael Kors paired with black heels. Meanwhile, her daughter sported a lace burgundy-hued dress with similar shoes.
Both women wore their matching-coloured blonde hair in soft curls that perfectly framed their faces.
During the gala, Witherspoon was awarded the Sherry Lansing Leadership by actress Kerry Washington, prompting her daughter to later congratulate the big win on social media.
‘Major congratulations to my mama, who received an award today for her leadership in the industry that she cares so deeply about improving,’ Ava wrote in a series of posts on her Instagram account.
‘I'm so grateful to have a mum this thoughtful, passionate, and courageous, and I'm glad other people can recognise how special she is!’
The 20-year-old regularly shares images of her famous family on Instagram, including photos of her mother-daughter dates and photographs of the pair 'twinning'.
Ava is Reese’s eldest child from her ex marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe.
