Last night, Clarence House shared a beautiful family photograph of Prince Charles' family, including his wife, children, daughter-in-laws, and three grandchildren.
But amid the laughing faces of Meghan Markle, Prince Louis and Prince George, there was noticeably one member of the Royal family missing, days before the Prince of Wales celebrates his 70th birthday on Thursday.
On 31 August 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales died as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris, France.

In the years since her passing, the Royal family have frequently paid tribute to the late princess, with her sons Prince Harry and Prince William often opening up about their mother in press interviews and during public appearances.
This morning, however, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall's official Twitter account honoured Diana's memory, by including her in a sweet montage of pictures to mark the prince's birthday.
Amongst several snaps of Charles with Camilla, paying sport and spending time with his sons, one sweet image of Charles and Diana with their young children also appears.
The video was captioned: 'Happy 70th birthday to HRH The Prince of Wales,' gaining many retweets and comments from royal fans in a matter of hours.
One follower wrote: 'What a wonderful selection of photos, thank you! Happy Birthday Sir - thank you for all your work helping others, enjoy your special day!' Another added: 'Very nice to see all family members… Happy birthday #PrinceCharles70 cheers from Australia.'
In the official photograph to mark the Prince's birthday, Kate Middleton also paid tribute to the late Princess, by wearing an Alexandra Rich polka dot midi navy dress.
The outfit is strikingly similar to a navy dress worn by Princess Diana in 1985 when she was photographed at home in her sitting room with her lady in waiting and private secretary, Anne Beckwith-Smith.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been known to honour the late Princess' memory in her outfits on several occasions in the past. Most notably, on the birth of Prince George, she wore a polka dot Jenny Packham blue dress (similar to the one worn by Diana following the birth of Prince William in 1982).
