What do you buy the celebrity who has everything, for Christmas? It's a hard one, but it seems Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have got a strong Christmas gifting game, if Oprah Winfrey's recent social media post is anything go to by.

The iconic talk show host uploaded a video to Instagram showing her admiring a 'lovely Christmas basket' gifted to her by 'my neighbour M'.

It's a pretty big clue that the hamper came from the Duchess of Sussex; it's widely known that Meghan and Harry moved to the California neighbourhood of Montecito earlier this year, which is also home to Oprah, as well as Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie.

But if you had any doubt lingering that Meghan Markle wasn't the secret santa behind Oprah Winfrey's festive basket of goodies, in her caption she all-but-confirmed it. "On the first day of Christmas my [neighbour] 'M' sent to me...a basket of deliciousness!" she wrote, adding in brackets: 'Yes that M 👑'. Note the crown emoji!!

And it seems like Meghan's generous present went down pretty well (we'll just ignore the fact she opened it before Christmas, shall we?)

In the video, Oprah can be seen perusing the various packets of Clevr oatmilk superlatte blends (with flavours including matcha, chai and turmeric), before complimenting the 'nice decoration' of the gift, and then demonstrating how to make up a cup.

'My new drink of choice for the morning and night,' the presenter wrote in her caption.

It's no surprise that Meghan chose a gift containing superfoods for Oprah Winfrey, considering she used to write share snippets of her love of health and nutrition in her now-defunct blog, The Tig.

In one interview, pre-Prince Harry, the former Suits actress waxed lyrical about the benefits of turmeric (which is a key ingredient in the Golden Superlatte gifted to Oprah). Suggesting a smoothie recipe with turmeric in a Q&A with The Chalkboard, Meghan described the spice as having "unbelievable healing properties."

While we imagine Meghan and Harry will soon be winding down for Christmas, the Duchess of Sussex made a surprise TV appearance this week on CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute.

The first time she has appeared publicly since disclosing the miscarriage she experienced in July, Meghan Markle honoured the 'quiet heroes' who have come together during the coronavirus pandemic, and thanked all those who have 'stood up and made sure the most basic needs of our communities were met'.
