Can you believe it's been a whole year since Ariana Grande broke the internet with her candid lyrics and nod-to-nostalgia music video for 'thank u, next'?
Yep. 365 days since Grande sang about her ex-boyfriends Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Mac Miller and former fiancé Pete Davidson in a break-up anthem for the millennial era, which was complemented perfectly with a music video paying homage to Bring It On, 13 Going on 30, Legally Blonde and, of course, Mean Girls.
Since then, Grande has largely been touring her fifth album - which has involved singing 'thank u, next' a lot, and - as she confirmed on Twitter on Sunday (3 November) - has largely been taking time for herself.

The singer reflected on the past year since the song came out, in a series of tweets, saying: 'I can't believe I've spent more time alone this year than I have in my life, I can't believe how many sessions with my therapist I've had... how much I've learned and healed, how much I still have to learn and heal.'
The 26-year-old thanked her friends, family and fans for being by her side and openly shared that she still 'doesn't know sh*t about love' but has realised that being by herself (or just with her pets) is a completely fine way to be.
Grande called time on her engagement with Davidson weeks before she released 'thank u, next' last year. The break-up followed a tough time for the singer, after the rapper Mac Miller, who Grande dated for three years, tragically died.
Over the past year, the singer was, at times, rumoured to be dating her collaborator Mikey Foster from Social House. However, her brother Frankie then reportedly clarified that his sister 'is very much single'.
Whatever her relationship status, we're happy to see that Grande appears to be doing just great.
