As a former actress, Meghan Markle is good at hitting her marks, which puts her in pretty good stead for her new role as a Duchess.

Besides working with charities and looking perfectly manicured, the Californian also has to be on top of her etiquette, knowing when to wave, when to smile and, most importantly, when to curtsy.

On the Queen’s official birthday this Saturday, Prince Harry was keen to show his new bride how Trooping the Colour goes down.

Lip-readers reported that, whilst the couple were on the balcony alongside the rest of the royal family, the Duke was talking through the proceeding to his ‘nervous’ wife.

The Mirror reported he explained to her, ‘When you get into it I'll tell you more later…then there’s the flypast’ joking, ‘and then we all look up to the sky.’

In a moment that we all missed, however, the Duke of Sussex also helped her out on when to curtsy.

In a clip shared on Instagram you can see Markle say through smile, ‘Do it?’ before Harry says ‘yes’ and they dip.

Though her curtsy is slightly behind schedule,Harry is doing a great job at leading the way. We would not be this good at taking direction.
