This Saturday’s Trooping the Colour reminded us how, when it boils down to it, the Royals are just a normal, bonkers family, like ours.

A brief moment between Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, showed that the sister-in-laws are just that, sharing a chat and a giggle on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Charlotte, middle child of Kate and Wills, stumbled on a step and was cuddled by her Alexander McQueen-wearing mother (ok, so they aren’t totally normal).

Another moment we totally missed at the time, however, was Prince Harry talking his apparently nervous new bride through the pomp and circumstance of the day.

The Mirror’s lip-reader explains that, whilst the family prepared themselves on the balcony, Harry was giving words of encouragement to the American former-actress, even slipping in a classic Harry joke.

According to their expert, Harry asked the Suits star whether she was, 'Okay?' she responded, 'yeah, are you?' then moment later admitted she was 'nervous'.

In a move to apparently calm he down he appears to say that he will explain things as they happen,'Errr. When you get into it I'll tell you more later.'

He tells the Duchess, who was wearing a Carolina Herrera top and skirt, 'Then there's the flypast,' before joking, 'and then we all look up to the sky.'

Way to point out the obvious bro.
