The Best Clogs For Women To Buy For A Touch Of Boho
This wooden shoe is back once again. We blame Chemena Kamali.
Clogs have come and gone over the decades. But for 2025, this wooden shoe feels more exciting than ever.
If you didn't know: boho is back. And it returned with a bang courtesy of Chemena Kamali's first show for Chloé at Paris Fashion Week. After a decade of minimalist strappy sandals and trainers, it was quite the shock to see a front row clad in the same sky-high platform wedge sandals. Then the models appeared wearing a selection of studded clogs with ruffled maxis and minis, knitted shift dresses, vinyl capes and thigh-skimming pelmet skirts (which gives you a sense of just how versatile this shoe can be), and suddenly it all made so much sense.

This much-memed moment spawned fashion's freshest obsession with wooden soles. A few months later, Kamali's clog collection was spanning the internet – from the classic buckled clog, to the platform heel version, slingback styles and an open-toe sandal iteration, too. Sienna Miller was spotted in the chunky six-inch Jeanette, while Daisy Edgar-Jones plumped for her kitten-heeled cousin, the Judith.
Soon after, we were seeing this Seventies-inspired shoe all over the runways, at Ulla Johnson and Etro, but also more surprisingly at Hermès and Miu Miu. The high street has, naturally, gone quite mad for this trend – so thankfully you can pick up a pair of timeless clogs, in chocolate suede, tan leather or even PVC, for as little as £50.
If you're stumped for how to style this wooden shoe outside of Kamali's hypnotic vision, we've created a 'clogs and dresses' style guide here. Or, keep scrolling to see our pick of the 17 best pairs to buy this summer.
