The Best Dresses From Haute Couture Fashion Week SS25
The pinnacle of creativity and style.

For impressive craftsmanship, luxe materials, intricate embroidery and larger-than-life silhouettes, look no further than the Haute Couture collections. Often set against grand show sets, Couture revels in the frothy, feathered, frilly, totally fantastical. There are always a good few sartorial surprises to boot, too, as well as tonnes of wedding dress inspiration, homages to the design greats and the hottest new trends for the future.
This season was no exception, with plenty of show-stopping gowns to delight. Alessandro Michele, who made his couture debut at Valentino, leaned into pomp and spectacle, while Ludovic de Saint Sernin brought high attitude to the catwalk as the guest designer at Jean Paul Gaultier.
Elsewhere, Maria Grazia juxtaposed crinoline petticoats delicately draped in flowers and lace-trimmed tulle culottes with mohawk headpieces at Dior, while Giorgio Armani marked 20 years of Privé with shimmering collection — he titled the show Lumières — celebrating elegance and couture craft.
From Valentino and Dior to Armani Privé, ELLE rounds up the dreamiest dresses to grace the runways at this season's SS25 Paris Haute Couture shows.
