London Fashion Week might be known for its edgy, up-and-coming designers, and Paris for its couture, but nowhere puts on a star-studded show quite like Milan. Case in point: today's SS25 Gucci showcase, which boasted the likes of Dakota Johnson, Julia Garner, Nicola Coughlan, Jessica Chastain and fashion 'It Girl' of the moment, Daisy Edgar-Jones, on the front row.
The Normal People star has been notably absent from this Fashion Week season so far, as she has been travelling the world to promote her latest film, On Swift Horses. As an ambassador for Gucci, however, Edgar-Jones found time in her packed schedule to make a suitably stylish appearance at the Italian luxury fashion brand's much-anticipated SS25 show.

Despite the mild Milanese temperatures, the actor arrived in a high-summer look that wouldn't have been out of place at a (very chic) beach club. Edgar-Jones wore a semi-see-through, white crochet three-piece set, consisting of high-waisted shorts, a bra-style, ab-baring crop top and a matching cardigan, all embroidered with delicate flower details.
Her accessories, at least, were a little more autumn-appropriate... Namely, an oversize brown suede hobo bag, and co-ordinating Mary-Jane ballet flats, complete with Gucci's signature metal horsebit. You can take this as official proof that suede is set to be huge for the season ahead, and ballet flats are here to stay. Just make sure you have an umbrella on-hand, too.
