A day after visiting Canada House with Prince Harry to mark their first official engagement of 2020, Meghan Markle was just photographed leaving London’s National Theatre.

On Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex was seen visiting the location’s smaller Dorfman Theatre – of which she is patron – wearing a navy-hued ensemble that has us itching to give our wardrobes an immediate makeover.

For the occasion, the 38-year-old wore a navy blue wool overcoat - believed to be by Massimo Dutti - draped over her shoulders, atop a light blue shirt, which she styled with the arms rolled up.

The royal teamed the relaxed look with a pair of black cigarette trousers – similar to the ones she wore to the launch of her Smart Works collection last September – and a pair of black stilettos.

The mother-of-one, who recently spend six weeks with her husband, son Archie in Canada, styled her dark long locks into a tight low chignon.

Markle has previously championed the importance of suitable workwear for women as a way of bolstering their confidence when interviewing for a new job.

The royal worked with the women’s organisation Smart Works last September to launch a capsule work collection with British high street brands including Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Jigsaw.

During the launch of the collection, the former actress noted: ‘Community is going through your closet and saying “this is the blazer that I first wore when I nailed by first job interview and got my dream job, and I don’t need that anymore because I’m where I need to be.

‘But if I’m able to share that blazer and be part of another woman’s success story, then that’s community”.'

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to royal duties following their break across the Atlantic.

The pair were seen arriving at Canada House in London, with Markle sporting a Reiss camel coat, roll neck tan jumper, a Vince mahogany brown slip midi skirt and burgundy-coloured suede pumps by Jimmy Choo.

According to Buckingham Palace, the couple were scheduled to meet with the High Commissioner in Canada to the UK, Janice Charette, to thank the country for the warm hospitality and support they received during their festive break.

They then made a visit to the Canada gallery and viewed an exhibition by Indigenous Canadian artist, Skawennati.
