It’s safe to say that 2019 was a pretty memorable year for newlyweds Hailey and Justin Bieber.
Just less than a year after officially saying ‘I do’ in September 2018 at a courthouse, the couple married in front of their family and famous friends in Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina.
Looking back at their first year of marriage, the 23-year-old took the opportunity on New Year’s Day to share a montage of videos and photos throughout her last 365, which gave fans a sneak peek into never-before-seen photos, taken in the lead up to her big day.

In a post captioned with the date August 21, the then bride-to-be could be seen trying on her off-the-shoulder wedding dress, designed by Louis Vuitton menswear's artistic director Virgil Abloh.
‘Had my final dress fitting,’ she captioned the photo, which sees the model standing in a hotel conference room and wearing her full veil, emblazoned with the statement ‘til’ death do us part’ on the train.
Minimal Wedding Dresses
Another snap showed off the length of the sheer train, which was embroidered with small flowers on the hem, while another showed the model attempting to FaceTime Abloh while standing in the dress.
The newlywed also posted a photograph of herself standing in a backless white dress that was being pinned on September 8 while another sees the bride undergoing a hair and make-up test with A-list hair stylist Jen Atkin.
Wearing an up-do while standing in a Meghan Markle-inspired halterneck gown in one snap, the bride showed off the simple details of the dress, while another photo features the model in an off-the-shoulder corseted satin gown which she accessorised with diamond drop earrings, a diamond necklace and a half-up-do hair style.
During the round-up of photos, several snaps show the newlyweds at their wedding rehearsal – for which the Californian star wore a bespoke white mini Vivienne Westwood dress – while others see the couple walking down the aisle.
‘I was the last OLLG,’ the bride captioned a photograph of herself – referencing her husband’s 2009 song ‘One less lonely girl’ - sitting in her wedding reception dress, trainers and a black bomber jacket.
The couple’s wedding was attended by their friends including Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun.
Ahead of their wedding, the model spoke out in defence of her marriage to Bieber, telling Vogue Australia: ‘Nobody from the outside really knows what's going on between us.
‘I wake up every morning with this person. I'm the only person that has direct dialogue with this person. This is my relationship. What's so tricky about mental health is that it can be easy to let people convince you of something that's not real.’
The couple currently split their time between Canada and their home in Los Angeles.
