Missoma's Black Friday sale is one of the few that always gets the ELLE UK editors' attention. Because while other brands opt for a classic clearance event in November, Missoma tends to discount absolutely everything on its site.
Not only does Missoma count the likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa, Kendall Jenner and the Duchess of Cambridge as fans, it's also one of the OG affordable jewellery brands. We've been awaiting Missoma's Black Friday celebrations very eagerly indeed this year, and are delighted to announce that the brand has discounted everything on its website by up to 40% for the occasion. Now that's what we call a Holy Grail sale.
Last year, Missoma's Black Friday offering was so good, that British-American designer Harris Reed took to Instagram to shout about the event. Posting a series of photos of famous friends – Florence Pugh, Hailey Bieber, Gigi and Bella Hadid, no less – wearing his coveted collection with the brand, he said:
'My beloved collection that I created almost three years ago today is on sale for Black Friday up to 40% off. Pieces and sizes are selling out as we speak. Go get your fabulous holiday shopping on and enjoy treasures that I've created with so much love and detail!'
This year is no different, with 40% off some of our most coveted pieces from the Harris Reed collab. Missoma rarely marks down new-season pieces or dishes out promo codes – until Black Friday, that is, when it treats us to money off everything on site. The sale includes the brand's fine jewellery collection, too, so you can treat yourself to some solid gold, pearl, sapphire and diamond-studded delights for much less than usual.

Where do we even begin? Missoma is the queen of collabs and right now we've got influencer Lucy Williams' latest offering on our minds. We're also coveting the Axiom chain (considered a staple by Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne, and currently 40% off), Bella Hadid's Entwine hoops and The Princess of Wales' pink Pyramid earrings. And for the nostalgic appeal alone, don't miss the Hot Rox hoops that JLo wore on the cover of ELLE back in 2007, which are almost half price right now.
Missoma's Black Friday Sustainability Pledge:
There’s also a more conscious reason to shop Missoma for Black Friday, with the brand moving forward with their goal to plant 1 million trees by 2026.
To offset the conspicuous consumerism, Missoma has partnered with charity TreeSisters every Black Friday since they launched e-tail. For the past five years, one tree has been planted for every order made, ensuring the sale gives something back. TreeSisters is a nonprofit organisation which exists to prompt collective responsibility for planetary restoration with a focus on empowering women and tropical reforestation.
‘Before sustainability became a byword and a must-have, we started planting trees to offset carbon emissions with the female-founded company Tree Sisters,' Marisa Hordern, Missoma's founder tells ELLE UK. Today Missoma has planted approximately 250,000 trees, and, what's more, she adds: 'Missoma is carbon neutral on deliveries and returns, which we track in real time.'
When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday falls on the last Friday of November every year – which, this year, is November 29 – but back in 2023, Missoma launched its sale three days early. Keep your eyes peeled to make sure you can bag your wishlist pieces while they're still in stock.

If you've been hiding under a rock/are new to the biggest shopping event of the year that is Black Friday, let us enlighten you real quick.
Black Friday was originally an American holiday, thought to be kick-started by department store Macy’s in the 1930s. The annual event didn't get its name until later on, when it grew in popularity during the eighties.
It wasn't until decades later, in 2010, that the UK started cashing in on the shopping event. First up, Amazon: the e-tailer began offering customers online discounts and deals on the same day as the sales in the US. Fast forward to 2023, and Black Friday is basically bigger than Boxing Day sales, with most high street and even some luxury stores taking part.
What's the deal with Missoma's Black Friday shipping?
One of Missoma's main priorities is being kinder to the environment, so it tends to do blanket sales rather than staggered clearance mark-downs to make things easier for customers and prevent multiple orders being shipped out.
The brand is pretty generous when it comes to delivery, too: standard shipping is free on orders over £50 takes just 2-3 working days. If you need your jewellery faster, you can opt for next day delivery for a £5.95 fee or spend £100 to get it for free.
