Misha Nonoo, if you didn’t know, is supposedly the mysterious matchmaker that put Meghan Markle and Prince Harry together all those months ago.
Designer Nonoo was of course invited to last weekend’s revelry, calling it ‘the happiest weekend’ on her Instagram page.
Nonoo designed both her day and evening outfits for the Duke and Duchess’ lavish nuptials, wearing an ice-blue dress at the church and a striking, red jumpsuit for the party.
However, these two elegant and snazzy outfits aren’t the only piece of sartorial wizardry that contributed to the big day, as she has also hinted that an unassuming shirt did some of the work too.
There's a sponsored Instagram post doing the rounds, promoted by the blonde designer's fashion label and featuring an image of Nonoo herself, wearing something she's dubbed 'The Husband Shirt,' calling the item of clothing the one that, 'seals the deal.'
Say what? Well, cast your mind back to the Invictus games of last year, when we first saw the couple together for the first time. What was the then-actress wearing? None other than a white shirt, with jeans and pumps.
These snaps were taken over a year into the pair's relationship, at their first public outing and a mere month before their engagement announcement.
Though we are sure love, compatibility and timing had plenty to do with their union, this shirt probably helped.
Thankfully, the shirt is currently on sale on Nonoo's site, and though it is based in the US, because the shirt is one of the 'Easy 8' items, International shipping is free.
The brand describes the shirt: Every brand claims to have 'the perfect white shirt.' Not us. We know our crisp cotton poplin shirt is no angel. Sure, it looks prim and proper, peeking out from our black blazer, but don’t be fooled. This top has a wild side. It’s often spotted in the early morning hours of our Instagram feeds haphazardly tucked into our wide-leg pants, held together by only one metal shank. The metal button closures are specifically designed to easily transition from day to play. Button them all the way up for work then unfasten three or four and you’re ready to hit the town. So no, this shirt isn’t perfect, but where’s the fun in perfect anyway. As worn by Misha Nonoo, Meghan Markle, and countless women worldwide.
At $185 (£138.54) this isn't the cheapest white shirt you've ever bought, but since it bags you a Prince it seems like quite good value.

Crafted from pure silk, this Sézane choice is a softer, more feminine take on the formal white dress shirt. We love the attention to detail (check the covered buttons) and the fabric’s semi-sheer finish. Make the most of it with a contrasting black bralette and leather trousers on evenings out.

Jacquemus Cutout Cotton-Blend Shirt
Trust Jacquemus to take the cropped shirt trend further than any other designer: this cotton option is so short the hemline barely skims your bra strap. Don't worry, though, you can still make it daytime appropriate – just take cues from Bella Hadid’s with low-rise jeans and a statement trainer.
If you’re not into oversized cuts, you might find Reformation’s fitted shirt more flattering. It’s cleverly seamed and darted to cinch in your waist and make for fuss-free tucking into trousers and skirts.
