Dianna Agron is relishing the holiday season—so much so that she arrived promptly to the dinner she hosted last night at the Armani/Ristorante in Midtown to celebrate the latest release of Giorgio Armani’s Crossroads campaign. “I’m soaking up all that New York City has to offer,” she tells ELLE.com. “It’s wonderfully festive here.”

Located steps away from the decorative window displays lining Fifth Avenue, the restaurant had a joyful vibe, as the singer and actress gathered her closest friends, including Molly Howard, Pollyanna Rose, Tracy Dubb, Sanam Salek, Cécile Winckler, Sade Lythcott, and hospitality guru Kyle Hotchkiss Carone, at the fashion hot spot, which opened last month.

For the fourth installment of Crossroads, which celebrates “strong, self-aware women who have made pivotal choices in their lives,” Agron participates in an episode where she discusses her meteoric rise from playing Quinn Fabray on Glee to performing in a cabaret residency at the Carlyle Hotel.

The group caught up over glasses of champagne before filtering into the second floor of the restaurant, decorated with gray chairs and booths and classic white tablecloths, with white flowers atop the surfaces.

“Being surrounded by the people I love and care about so deeply is a joyful feeling,” says Agron, wearing a sparkly beaded Giorgio Armani top featuring embellished flowers. “There are many combined years of friendship in this room. I’m lucky.”

After guests sat down to a three-course meal of potato and truffle, risotto, dover sole, beef with peppercorn sauce, and Italian sponge cake, Agron shared her favorite holiday tradition: “Gathering around the table over a meal.”
