On Friday, Tyla made an entrancing Coachella debut, taking the stage at the California music festival in the perfect summer ensemble. The musical artist appeared in a sparkling gold bikini top under a white crop T-shirt that slipped alluringly off one shoulder. She wore it with brocaded Dolce & Gabbana red and white bottoms featuring a black fringe, a pair of strategically torn fishnets, and a pair of Leona boots from Burju, made of mesh and leopard print material. She accessorized with a belly chain, wrist bangles, and a pair of large hoop earrings.

Tyla had some surprises for the audience, including her hit “On and On” mixed with Aaliyah’s “Rock the Boat.” She later welcomed Becky G onstage to perform “On My Body.” Becky G’s outfit was a thematic fit for Tyla, featuring a white and yellow bralette top with matching shorts and ripped details. On her feet, she wore faux fur boots in a Dalmatian print from 1XBlue.

Becky G recently presented Tyla with the Impact Award at the Billboard Women in Music ceremony.

When asked on the award show’s red carpet about the importance of “impact,” Tyla shared, “You never know how something you say or do—a lyric, a performance—might ignite in someone else, and what they, in turn, will pass forward to another person. So I feel very lucky—for my fans, my Tygers, who have given me such an exciting life, allowing me to share and grow into all the different versions of myself as an artist and as a woman.”

During her Coachella set, Tyla stopped to shout out the “Tygers” by spray-painting a giant tiger statue with her name in bright green.

She finished the set with a version of her big hit “Water,” including a moment for her famous viral dance moves.
