Minor spoilers below.

Black Mirror is back, and there are more Easter eggs woven into the new season than ever before. Emma Corrin, who stars in season 7, teased some of the sneaky references hidden within the latest installment.

“There’s a ‘San Junipero’ Easter egg in this episode,” Corrin told ELLE UK of their appearance in “Hotel Reverie,” season 7, episode 3. They advised fans of the series to “watch out for the signs.”

Corrin isn’t the only one who has pointed out Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker’s proclivity to reference previous episodes. Speaking to RadioTimes.com, the show’s producer Jessica Rhoades said, “The fun of the show is that it’s not just Charlie that is coming up with [the Easter eggs and references].

“We have this incredible team, and at some point it kind of becomes a badge of honor to get one in. We have this amazing graphic designer, Sam Morley, who works across the season, and I think he sometimes throws one in that we won’t even catch a number of times,” she added.

Brooker agreed, adding, “I’m like, ‘oh, that’s a deep cut.’ He’s referred to an episode back in season 2, and that’s...wow.”

Now that season 7 is streaming, let’s break down the Easter eggs in Corrin's episode, “Hotel Reverie.”

What are the Easter eggs in the Black Mirror episodeHotel Reverie”?

When actor Brandy Friday (Issa Rae) is researching film star Dorothy Chambers (Emma Corrin), she logs onto YouTube where she finds videos uploaded by Pia (Myha’la) and Davis (Samuel Blenkin), two podcasters from the season 6 episode “Loch Henry.” That's not all; videos at the side of the YouTube page reference yet another episode from season 6, “Demon 79.”

“We also have a Space Fleet shirt in the control room,” Brooker told Netflix’s Tudum, referencing the online game featured in another Black Mirror episode, “USS Callister.” The shirt is worn by a technician played by Ted Lasso’s Charlie Hiscock.

There are also “San Junipero” references throughout Corrin’s episode, including Dorothy’s previous films called St Juniper and My Kingdom for a Pig, which fans have interpreted to be a reference to Rory Kinnear’s prime minister in the show’s very first episode, “The National Anthem,”

The “San Junipero” references don't stop there—Brandy also lives on Juniper Drive. And the fictional actor’s version of “Hotel Reverie” is also made available on Streamberry, the fictional streaming service first introduced in season 6 episode “Joan is Awful.”
