On Saturday, Hailey Bieber celebrated her son Jack Blues Bieber with a new photo of the baby, showing him off on his 7-month-birthday. In the picture, Jack is wearing a yellow jersey with his last name across the back in sparkling green letters. He’s being held in his mom’s arms and his feet dangle at her waist, clad in white socks.
Hailey appears to be wearing a green tracksuit with black sleeve stripes and a black undershirt. Over the image, she wrote, “7 months 🥹🤍,” and “time is flying by too fassssst 😭.”
Hailey welcomed Jack with husband Justin Bieber in August 2024. The couple only announced they were expecting in May of that year, sharing images and video from their vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii. In the pictures, Hailey is clearly pregnant and wearing a white gown and lace veil.
In July 2024, in a story for W Magazine, Hailey shared why she stayed private about the pregnancy for a long time before finally making the decision to share the news.
“I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time,” she explained. “I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.”
She continued, “I probably could have hid it until the end. But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
The Rhode founder was also guarded because she is very aware of potential public scrutiny due to her relationship with the pop star.
“People have made me feel so bad about my relationship since day one. ‘Oh, they’re falling apart. They hate each other. They’re getting divorced.’ It’s like people don’t want to believe that we’re happy,” she said. “I used to try to act like it hurts less and less. I’ve tried to think that you get used to it at a certain point, that this is what’s going to be said and this is how people are going to be. But I realize that it doesn’t actually ever hurt any less.”
