All About Bianca Censori, Kanye West’s Estranged Wife

Censori is Australian. Her exact age isn’t public, but The Sun reports she’s believed to be around 30. Her LinkedIn describes her as having finished high school in 2012 and her undergraduate degree in 2017. Her position on the page is listed as head of architecture at Yeezy.

Censori earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture at the University of Melbourne. She finished her master’s education in 2020 and received her bachelor’s degree in 2017. She previously was a student architect at DP Toscano Architects from July 2017 to June 2020 prior to starting at Yeezy in November 2020, per her LinkedIn.

Censori was asked how she got into architecture. “I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia,” she said. “As a child I was consistently drawn to creative endeavors, mostly artistic. I always wanted to be a sculptor and to me, architecture is the union of art and pragmatics. It is the grandest artistic gesture that we can place onto the earth. I was drawn to it, purely, as a shift in artistic scale.”

“As a child, I spent a lot of time with my aunt who would consistently expose me to an array of art, film, and architecture,” she continued of what fueled her interest in the craft. “She really drove my love for design and instilled in me an eye for aesthetics that I was able to nurture into adulthood.”

West’s romance with Censori, at least publicly, is very new. It’s unclear when the two started dating. TMZ reported that Censori and West were seen at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills sharing a meal on Jan. 9, 2023. On January 13, when it reported on their alleged marriage, the outlet added that while West and Censori weren’t seen or photographed together side by side, she had been at “some Kanye-adjacent events, including a Balenciaga show in May.”

Multiple sources connected to Censori and West told the outlet on January 13 that the couple “recently had a private ceremony to celebrate their love” but didn’t appear to file a marriage certificate yet to make it legal. West was seen wearing a gold ring to symbolize his commitment to her, TMZ reported.

On Oct. 6, 2023, it was reported in documents obtained by the Daily Mail that the couple did get a “confidential” marriage license in California on Dec. 20, 2022. Their wedding date was set one month after West's divorce was settled with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

The license was never made public record before because of its “confidential” status, but the marriage took place in Palo Alto, and was officiated by James Mayfield. Censori's full name is on the license as well as West’s legal name, which was changed to “Ye” in October 2021. Their marital home is listed as West’s Wyoming ranch.

Breakup rumors emerged after TMZ reported on October 7 that West and Censori had shared news of their breakup with people close to them. Sources described the couple as being in “a rough patch.” Those insiders said West “has been telling people close to him he plans to live in Tokyo...and divorce Bianca.”

On Tuesday, October 8, the outlet published a photo and video of the couple showing PDA in Tokyo earlier that day. They matched in white while shopping at Dover Street Market Ginza.

Daily Mail noted that what appeared to be Censori’s Instagram account (@bianca.censori) was unavailable immediately following news of her and West’s alleged marriage. Censori had 16,500 followers and just 27 posts before the handle was seemingly deactivated.

In January 2025, Censori’s Instagram appeared again. Her account only followed West’s Instagram, while West only followed her. She has since deactivated the account as of April 3, 2025.

West’s ex-wife posted two quotes on her Instagram Story around the time news of the “marriage” came out. “Just remember, the black sheep turns into the goat. Keep doing you,” one read. Another that followed said, “People who want to see you win, will help you win. Remember that.”

Kardashian broke into tears when discussing how hard co-parenting with West had been in an interview released in late December, especially given his hateful public comments. West and Kardashian share four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

“One day my kids will thank me...for not bashing their dad,” she said at one point. She added later, “I definitely protected him, and I still will in the eyes of my kids. For my kids. So, in my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on [in] the outside world.”

TMZ pointed out that West released a song with Censori’s name in the track title last month. Its beginning verse, “And The Bible said / I can’t have anymore sex / Till marriage,” may be a hint, the outlet speculated, about West’s sudden decision to get remarried.

Kardashian wasn’t against Censori and West’s union, as long as she is positive force to West. The source said, “Bianca has been around their kids. Kim, ultimately, just wants Kanye to be at peace. So if Bianca helps with that, then it’s fine.”

Fans spotted the couple in Tokyo in late June. At one point, West took photos with a fan while Censori was photographed in their vehicle, holding a Hello Kitty doll.

On June 11, Censori made headlines for being photographed holding hands with West's oldest child, North, at his birthday party.

In early August, West and Censori were traveling around Italy, and walking barefoot through the cities of Florence and Rome. They even went sans footwear to a Travis Scott concert and while visiting a fabric factory in the Prato East district.

Jason Lee, who formerly worked as West’s head of media and partnerships, told Page Six that he thinks the barefoot look is a PR stunt.

“I think the fact that people are talking about Kanye’s feet shows just how much power he still has in the wake of cancel culture,” he said. “I think it’s a smart and strategic move. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next time we saw shoes on his feet it would be a project that he designed.”

Censori drew some outrage from locals for dressing very provocatively, wearing near naked, sheer bodysuits in Italy where her nipples were visible. But after West himself had a wardrobe malfunction where his butt was exposed on a boat, sources spoke to TMZ about how Kardashian felt about their vacation coverage. She isn’t concerned. Kardashian “isn’t staying up to date” on West and his personal life, the sources claimed, noting she is only focused on co-parenting affairs. The sources added that Kardashian viewed West’s NSFW photos vas just an “unfortunate” wardrobe malfunction that paparazzi caught.

A source additionally spoke to Page Six on Sept. 1, 2023 about a false tabloid report that Kardashian wanted to warn Censori about West.

“She absolutely does not want to talk to her [Censori],” the source said. “Kim is actually a firm believer in letting people be on their own journey and figure out life. She would never call someone and warn them.”

In early September 2023, shortly after their trip to Italy, a source told Us Weekly that Censori’s friends have grown concerned about how her marriage has swept her away from them.

“Bianca’s friends are becoming concerned because their friendship with her hasn’t been the same in quite some time,” the source said. “Bianca has always been a strong, independent woman who has her own voice, but they haven’t seen that lately because they don’t speak or see each other as often as they had before she started seeing Kanye.”

They added that is Censori is “happy, then they’re happy for her,” but they find it “hard to tell...because she’s been isolated from them.”

Censori’s outfits, particularly her see-through body stockings, have drawn a lot of attention as the couple cavorted through Europe. Sources talking to Page Six said that the looks are put together by Laura Beham of the Zurich-based design collective Proto-types per West and his team’s instructions.

They stated that the rapper has a “whole atelier in Italy.”

“Anything he wants to make they can make it. He’s really just making it on the spot,” said Mowalola Ogunlesi, the London-based designer who worked with West on his Yeezy Gap collab. “They just buy tights and style it and cut it on [Censori].…Usually they get Wolford. Tights are not safe when they’re around.”

An anonymous source confirmed Ogunlesi’s statements, saying, “They design it and have an in-house team that creates everything in a day.”

The Sun reported that West and Censori were rumored to be “taking a break” following a successful friend intervention.

“Her family has never been a fan of Ye, and those close to her have questioned whether marrying him was the right decision,” a source said on Friday, November 17. “He is a very difficult person to be around and work for, and Bianca has been one of the most patient people ever to deal with him. She’s been all about Ye.”

They added West “has been a lot happier and more focused with her around,” but that their relationship has “taken its toll on her a bit with everyone having their opinion.”

West was in Saudi Arabia while Censori was in her homeland of Australia then. He was allegedly making new music with Ty Dollar $ign and is “not that worried” about his marriage.

“[Censori] may go back to him for the album launch—she loves the lifestyle—but I think it’s clear her family and friends would rather she didn’t,” the source stated.

Censori and West reunited in Dubai at the Atlantis resort over the Thanksgiving weekend, debunking breakup rumors. Videos posted on TMZ show West and Censori standing together. At one point, she leans against her husband. Also at the party were Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, and other entertainment personalities. West wore all black and Censori was in a bra top and a cream colored wraparound skirt with a front train.

On November 30, Amina Muaddi shared a photo of West and Censori posing alongside her on Instagram. Censori was holding a stuffed animal in the shot. Muaddi captioned the photo, “What a night! Grateful for Dubai’s warmest welcome while celebrating the opening of our first pop-up store in the Middle East with @ounass. 🧡” The photo of them is the second slide:

On Thursday, Dec. 13, 2023, West and Censori brought his daughter North West to Disneyland. In pictures shared by TMZ, Censori is wearing a full length sleeveless white bodysuit and holding the girl’s hand as they make their way through the crowd. They enjoyed the Haunted Mansion through the VIP back entrance and then headed to Frontier Land.

That Friday, the couple were seen leaving their hotel in Las Vegas following his controversial listening party for his upcoming LP Vultures, which was eventually shut down by police. Censori appeared to be clad in the same bodysuit. West was in all black with a matching towel over his head.

West shared new photos of his wife wearing very little clothing on Jan. 2, 2024. He later deleted them. “No pants this year,” he captioned the first shot of her wearing a thong and bandeau. A second was a mirror selfie featuring the two of them, with Censori appearing almost topless in the corseted bodysuit she wore. The third featured her looking down in that same very low-cut bodysuit. The photos have since been taken down.

While he did share some more titillating images of his wife for her birthday, the rapper also shared some cuter images of Censori. He has since deleted all of them.

On a photo of what could pass for a mugshot, West wrote, “Happy birthday to the most beautiful super bad fun iconic muse inspirational talented artist masters degree in architecture 140 IQ loving by my side everyday when half the world turned their backs on me and the most amazing step mom to our children I love you so much thank you for sharing your life with me.”

In February 2024, they made a public appearance in Milan.

On Feb. 23, 2024, West and Censori made an official public appearance at Marni’s fall 2024 show as part of Milan Fashion Week in Italy.

Kardashian and Censori appeared together at an event for West in March 2024.

Censori and Kardashian came together to support West at his Vultures listening party, which took place in San Francisco’s Chase Center on March 12, 2024. TMZ ran footage of them standing alongside each other at the event. The outlet noted that they were comfortable being around the other but not super chatty or chummy. It marks one of the first times Kardashian and Censori have been captured side by side at an event.

They returned to Italy in summer 2024.

On June 1, 2024, West and Censori were seen in Prato, Italy, seemingly walking together into a business meeting. They arrived in Florence on Monday.

In July 2024, they were back in California.

The couple was back in California on the Fourth of July, enjoying the San Francisco science museum. Photos of them walking around and enjoying the exhibits at the Exploratorium were shared by TMZ. West wore a white two-piece over a black hoodie, and Censori wore sheer white leggings and a blue strapless top with heels.

On Saturday, July 27, 2024, they were seen at the pool at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. Censori wore a green bikini top and white bottoms, while West was in khakis and a white T-shirt.

Censori’s family joined the Vultures 2 listening party in August 2024.

West presented his newest album Vultures 2 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City on Aug. 9, 2024, with Ty Dolla $ign. Censori was sitting stage side in a nude bodysuit, accompanied by her sisters Angelina and Alyssia, TMZ reported. Two of West’s children, North and Chicago, were at the show as well and even performed for his track “Bomb.”

The couple walked the Grammys red carpet together in February 2025.

Wearing a see-through naked dress on the Grammys red carpet, Censori posed alongside West, who wore an all-black T-shirt and pants.

They left the 2025 Grammys ceremony before it started.

Censori and West didn’t stay long at the February 2 Grammy Awards. Despite initial reports that they were escorted out, People revealed that West “was nominated and walked the carpet—then chose to get in his car and leave.”

Censori and West reportedly broke up in February 2025.

Just weeks after Censori’s appearance at the Grammys, she and West reportedly called it quits. According to sources’ statements to Daily Mail on Feb. 13, 2025, the couple allegedly agreed to part ways, with Censori set to receive a $5 million settlement. TMZ also reported the couple had also reached out to divorce lawyers.

The alleged breakup follows a string of controversies surrounding West, including his latest round of inflammatory remarks on social media and a since-removed Super Bowl ad featuring Nazi symbolism. Censori has yet to publicly comment on the reported split.

West confirmed Censori left him in April 2025.

On April 2, West previewed his song “BIANCA,” in which he revealed that Censori had left him and “ran away.” He begged her to come back in the song’s lyrics and shared that Censori had not been happy with his controversial social media rants (“She’s having a panic attack and she is not liking the way that I tweeted”). The release comes two months after TMZ reported the couple was talking to divorce lawyers.
