Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, a couple that very much loves privacy, were photographed returning from a rare public outing together last night. The two kept their backs turned to the camera as they entered Swift's apartment, giving the public proof that Alwyn was in the city to support Swift at her surprise performance at the Ally Coalition Talent Show last night. Both wore coats by AllSaints.

Swift is set to be in the film adaptation of Cats next, which reportedly started production in November and will be shot this winter in London. Cats creator Andrew Lloyd Weber told Vulture in September that Swift would be playing either Bombalurina or Demeter in the movie.
“She’s going to play one or other of the ‘Macavity’ girls,” he said, adding he was “not sure yet” which one. “Well, basically, Tom Hooper thought it was a really good idea, and of course, she loves cats. We’ll see. I mean, I haven’t met her, so I’m looking forward to meeting her and seeing her [at work].”
